Well, it’s been almost a year of having this blog and for the last month I’ve been planning this selection of my favorites from the past year where I managed to make at least one thing from the countries I’ve stepped foot in with a little bit of food attempted from each.
Along the way, there have also been several recipes that weren’t from a foreign land, but were just too good to pass up or one of the many recipes that were inspired from life.
To begin with, are the top five of my personal favorites ranging from Cinnamon Buns that taste exactly like store bought (better because they’re homemade) to chocolate mousse which holds such a special place in my heart because of how many homes I’ve made this in on my adventures.
I hope some of these make their way into your kitchen in the coming future.
Next up are the top five foreign recipes that were whipped up in my kitchen this year to show you how simple it is to try something different in your own kitchen. These dishes range in heritage from Mexico to New Zealand and they not only satisfy, but are soul satisfying.
Lastly, the last two were the most popular. Maybe the fact I named Christina Tosi’s Compost Cookies ‘End of the world’ cookies might have made my hits spike, but ultimately the Pumpkin and Feta Tart round out the posts with the most hits.
