Homemade Irish Cream couldn't require less effort to have your own bottle of this goodness in your home.
Ingredients
250 milliliters / 1 cup heavy cream
2 grams / 1 teaspoon instant coffee powder
1 gram / 1/2 teaspoon plain cocoa powder
177 milliliters / 3/4 cup Irish whiskey
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 x 400 milliliter / 14 ounce can sweetened condensed milk
Instructions
- Place 2 tablespoons of the heavy cream in a small bowl and add the instant coffee and cocoa powders.
- Stir together until smooth and combined, add in the remaining cream and stir until it is smooth.
- Whisk in the whiskey, vanilla extract and sweetened condensed milk until fully combined.
- Pour into your serving bottle and refrigerate until well chilled, minimum 2 hours.
- Add a little ice to a glass and pour in the Irish cream.
- Serve immediately.
Notes
This keeps for up to 2 weeks in the refrigerator.
