Description

Homemade Irish Cream couldn't require less effort to have your own bottle of this goodness in your home.


Ingredients

250 milliliters / 1 cup heavy cream
2 grams / 1 teaspoon instant coffee powder
1 gram / 1/2 teaspoon plain cocoa powder
177 milliliters / 3/4 cup Irish whiskey
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 x 400 milliliter / 14 ounce can sweetened condensed milk


Instructions

  1. Place 2 tablespoons of the heavy cream in a small bowl and add the instant coffee and cocoa powders.
  2. Stir together until smooth and combined, add in the remaining cream and stir until it is smooth.
  3. Whisk in the whiskey, vanilla extract and sweetened condensed milk until fully combined.
  4. Pour into your serving bottle and refrigerate until well chilled, minimum 2 hours.
  5. Add a little ice to a glass and pour in the Irish cream.
  6. Serve immediately.

Notes

This keeps for up to 2 weeks in the refrigerator.
