September 2015 – Saw/Ate/Read

This month had me seeing two friends who I hadn’t seen in a fair while, in fact this year has really become the year of reuniting with old friends from distant lands. Which means healthy eating is out the window while laughter over late night dinners in diners and beers in breweries ensued.

This also meant more time in East London was spent then the last year and lazy stops at Southbank Centre, which is really a must visit place while in the city. The higher you go in the building the quieter you get from the bustling streets with landmark sights still in your view and the river flowing beyond the concrete pavements.

Dip and Flip’s patty melt/Chocolate for dinner at Maison Assouline/Sunday Beigal

On the fancy end of the scale I was treated to Maison Assouline which offered up sweet chocolate treats among a beautiful store of coffee table books.

I also managed to wrangle with the crowds and get a salmon cream cheese bagel from the very famous Beigel Bake at Brick Lane.
