Ingredients

  • 500 grams / 1 pound watermelon flesh
  • 1 cup ice
  • 1 tablespoon lime juice fresh
  • 14 grams / 1 tablespoon sugar

Instructions

  • Place the watermelon, ice, lime juice and sugar into a blender and blend until smooth.
  • Strain into a pouring jug.
  • Pour into serving glasses.
  • Enjoy immediately.

Notes

  • Watermelon: Fresh watermelon was used here, though you could use frozen watermelon and replace the ice with 125 milliliters or ½ cup water instead.
  • Juice will separate: The longer the watermelon juice sits out the more it will separate so you will need to stir to combine before serving, if made too far in advance.
